1. What is the Hayya A1 Visa?

The A1 Tourist Visa is an online tourist entry permit issued through hayya.qa or the Hayya app. It is mainly for people visiting Qatar for:

• Tourism
• Visiting family or friends
• Short stays

This visa is fully digital — from application to approval.

2. Who Can Apply for A1 Visa?

• Indian nationals
• And most nationalities with valid passports
• Guests who are being hosted by a Qatar resident (optional).

If the traveller has a host in Qatar (family or friends with QID), the process becomes faster and smoother.

• Validity: 90 days (visa validity window to enter Qatar)
• Duration of Stay: Usually 30 days per entry
• Type: Single-entry (but check the portal; sometimes multi-entry option appears)

4. Requirements for Applying

To apply for the A1 Visa, the guest needs:

• Valid passport (minimum 3 months validity)
• Passport-size photo with a white background
• Email ID
• Travel information(Up and Down Ticket)
• Accommodation details (can be through host)

Host Requirements (Qatar Resident)

• Valid Qatar ID (QID)
• National Address Certificate uploaded
• Can host up to 5 guests per QID
• Guest details: name, passport number, nationality, email

Note:Labour workers who live in:Labour camps, Industrial area accommodation,Shared bachelor camp cannot host A1 visa guests. Then Hayya may reject the host registration.

5. Step-by-Step Process

Below is the full procedure for both the host and the guest.

Step 1: Host Invites Guest

• 1. Login to Hayya App or go to hayya.qa

• 2. If new → Click Sign Up → Create account using email

• 3. Login using OTP sent to your email

You will receive OTP to your Email

• 4. Click Start Here

• 5. Go to Accommodation Requirements

• 6. Select Host Family & Friends

• 7. Add Property → Upload National Address Certificate

National Adress Valid for 3 Months. If its expired download again from Metrash2 App

• 8. Go to Manage Guests
• 9. Add guest details:
• Full name
• Passport number
• Nationality
• Email ID

• 10. Host can add up to 5 guests

Step 2: Guest Creates Account

• 1. Visit hayya.qa or open the Hayya app
• 2. If you don’t have an account → Sign Up

• 3. Login → Enter OTP received via email

• 4. Click Start Here

• 5. Choose Flying to Qatar

• 6. Select Nationality: India

• Fill the options

• 7. Choose Tourist A1 Visa

Step 3: Fill the A1 Visa Application

• 1. Click Apply for A1 Visa

• 2. Click Start the Application

• 3. Select Purpose of Visit

• 4. Upload passport-size photo

• 5. Enter passport details
• 6. Fill contact information
• 7. Click Validate Your ID

• 8. It will show two options either by host or hotel booking
• 9. Review and Submit Application

Once the visa approved you will receive email and you can download the visa by clicking download button or you will receive in email

Step 4: Add Children (Under 18 Years)

• Go to Manage Dependents
• Add child’s passport details
• Upload photo
• Submit

Processing Time

• Usually takes a few hours to 24 hours
• Sometimes instantly approved
• Approval will be sent to your email
• You can also download the Entry Permit from the Hayya app

• Some countries may have fee requirements (depends on nationality/time)
